Many years ago I saw a really neat afghan in a crochet book. Turns out it was Tunisian Crochet. I tried to learn from printed instructions, but it just never looked like the picture. So I gave up.
Several months ago I saw an awesome wine cozy on display at my local yarn shop, and - yep - Tunisian Crochet. I immediately thought they'd be great Christmas gifts! The designer, Moon Eldridge, assured me I would be able to make them, and told me to be on the lookout for her upcoming class.
I signed up for the class as soon as it was advertised at Downtown Knits in Apex, NC.
Today was my first class, and Moon was a great instructor. I learned and practiced several stitches, and I completed my first facecloth tonight.
It's fun learning a new skill that I've been admiring for many years. I can't wait to learn more at my next class!
